Since our inception, Compassion Planet has sought community-wide participation to help empower the lives of local, aged-out foster youth. One of the many ways our community can participate is by shopping at our Placer County stores. Our goal is to not only provide great products, services and experiences, but to offer ways for the community to learn about our mission. This also allows the community to engage with our youth who are gaining workforce development skills through employment in our enterprises. On-the-job training is a part of the yearlong Mentoring Program which aims to provide independence through employability skills and therapy.
